Houston, Texas leaders unveiled a two-block mural dedicated to George Floyd on Saturday, June 19, 2021. The mural, located directly in front of his alma mater, Jack Yates High School, is a powerful tribute to the life of the slain Black man whose death sparked nationwide protests against racial injustice.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Floyd's family members, and community activists.
